Natasha was sure she had some buttered crumpets...but they're gone! So she throws a chocolate chip cookie a Val instead and
eats one herself.
Natasha gave 1 chocolate-chip cookie to Valaria.
Valaria wonders why people keep throwing and tossing things randomly at her today. She glances down at the duck sleeping at
her feet and nudges him softly with the toe of her boot.
Natasha gives Val a funny look.
Xaandria grabs Valaria's arm lightly, "Don't nudge him. Never know when he...." Before she can get the words out, the duck
awakens rather quickly and lets out an angry quack towards the woman nudging him. He sets off waddling around the tavern again,
pecking at everyone's feet. Xaan raises her hands over her eyes, knowing all too well what could possibly happen now.
Natasha suddenly notices how many diamonds Val is wearing..."You certainly like diamonds!"
Natasha jumps up onto the bar and tucks her legs under her to keep them away from the creepy duck.
Valaria quickly tosses the cookie in the air and it lands on Natasha's table as she's pulled out of harms way by Xaandria.
Natasha oocly said, "Ducks creep me out!"
Maitane quacks evily at Natasha for a laugh,
Natasha ate a chocolate-chip cookie.
Natasha barks like a dog at Maitane.
Xaandria peeks through her fingers when she hears the duck flapping his wings again. She cringes softly, tightening her hold
on Val's arm when the feathered critter takes flight, ignoring the cookie all together and landing on bar next to Natasha.
Without warning, or the usual twitching, the fowl just ... expoldes. Xaandria lowers her hand and shakes her head before turning
to Val, "Think he can survive too many more of those?"
Valaria huddles with Xaandria as the duck explodes once again. "I'm just hoping WE do...."
Xaandria glances over at the bar then back to Valaria, "Me too. That's twice already today. How much more is he going to put
us through?"
Natasha coughs jumps from the bar up onto a beam, "Now, who's idea was it to have an exploding duck?" The Vampiress tries
to flatten her hair a little and brushes bits of feather off her dress.
Kalid said to you, "*sighs* That duck... I swear... if it didn't scare me..."
Natasha pounces on Lionel.
Lionel is rather randomly pounced on, and as he's only just woken from his sleep, he's an easy target and falls over.
Xaandria scampers over to the bar, retrieving the duck again. Sighing, she plucks a few more burnt feathers off him then looks
at Natasha, "He started following me around for some odd reason."
Xaandria grins at Kalid as she sits the now sleeping duck in her lap, "Here...you hold him for a while."
Natasha sits on top of Lionel, "How are you today?" She grins cheekily.
Valaria moves back over to her table by the window, feeling fairly confident that the duck is stable for the time being.
Lionel is sat on, and as such, doesn't move; widening his eyes and rubbing at them, he shrugs. "Oh... I feel like I'm being
pushed down against the tavern floor, today."
Valaria 's leopard stirs a bit after being woke by her nap from the explosion. Diamond saunters around the tavern, sniffing
on people and makes her way over to Kalid. She lifts her huge head in the air and smells the duck in Kal's lap. Diamond begins
to purr and swipes a big lick over the duck's back.
Natasha rolls off Lionel and stands above his head, "Now what do you feel like?"
Kalid prods the duck a little, but, as it doesn't wake up, she shrugs. Shooting an evil grin in Xaan’s direction, she
picks up the sleeping bird and hurls it in Natasha’s direction!
Lionel watches a duck being thrown for Natasha, he soon slides across the floor, rolling till he reaches the bar, and standing.
"I feel like running for dear life, and giving you my regards!"
Kristerl 's eyes are caught by a thrown duck, but only for a brief moment. As she raises a brow in reaction to this... oddity...
she sits herself at the fireplace, one leg folding over the other thigh, and turns her attention to the embers before her.
Natasha screams and ducks, the bird flying past her and bouncing off the wall. It wakes up and begins to peck everyone's feet
again. As it nears Lionel, it takes one look at his head then sits on his face.
Xaandria eeps softly as Diamond licks the feathered critter. She eeps louder when Kalid tosses the duck back at Natasha. Once
again, the little critter grows angry and begins twitching. All Xaan does this time is grab Valaria and Kalid, pulling them
both under a table as the duck explodes.
Natasha oocly is very behind today....
Lionel oocly wonders if the duck exploded on Natasha, or himself...
Valaria is grabbed and pulled under a table, her leopard leaping swiftly beneath it as well. She shakes her head at the poor
duck.
Kalid covers her ears!
Xaandria oocly thinks since it was sitting on Lionel, it exploded on him this time.
Lionel oocly nods. Grimly.
Natasha oocly laughs at Lionel, "Your
Natasha oocly is sorry about that...
Lionel watches the duck aperch upon his face, and knowing full-well the repercussions of allowing such a thing to take place,
he swiftly slides away yet again, but damn, it's not enough! It explodes him, it does. Sent flying across the tavern, he slams
his body into Mesthak himself, who slams him again into the floor behind the bar and steps on him in dismay.
Isal throws a hook up on a rafter and scampers up it madly
Natasha laughs at Lionel.
Natasha oocly cries cause she has to go now!
Natasha huggles everyone tightly, except the duck, wherever it is...then disappears.
Xaandria looks over just as Lionel and Methak hit the floor. The poor little duck waddles back over towards the table where
Xaan, Val and Kalid have all hidden and curls back up next to Diamond.
Valaria 's leopard gives off a nervious whimper as the duck lays next to her.
Lionel reaches with his left hand over and onto the bar, pulling himself up in confusion, and then leaping over the counter
only to fall, face-first, into the floor below him. Coughing, he turns, flicks Mesthak off and leaves.
Xaandria said to Valaria, "Maybe he'll sleep for a while now."
Valaria said to Xaandria, "Never know..."
Valaria returns from the board and takes a seat comfortably by the window again.
Dessie giggles and takes a seat on Valaria's head. "Hi Vally! How joo?"
Xaandria glances at the sleeping duck once more then silently moves to the chair next to Valaria.
Xaandria blinks as she catches sight of a fly or something fluttering around Valaria's head and flicks it away.
Dessie narrows her eyes at Xaandria "Heys, no swatting at Dessie, Dessie bonk joo good!"
Valaria eeps and watches Dessie go flying off her head and she grimaces at Xaandria. "You didn't know..."
Demont appears quietly and sneaks up to Valaria, tickling the back of her neck with a feather.
Xaandria grins at Valaria, "You have a talking fly as a pet?"
Dessie whimpers and flits back to Valaria, settling back in her hair. "Meanies"
Dessie narrows her eyes at Xaandria, the foot tall pixie obviously seeming to be insulted "Dessie is not fly!"
Maitane wakes up dazed and confused, she snorts, looks around then goes back to sleep.
Valaria picks up Dessie by the waist and sets her on the floor and proceeds to pounce Demont.
Xaandria catches sight of movement in the duck. She readies herself for the worse as the fowl wakes up and begins flapping
his wings. A slight tinge of anger can be seen in his eyes as he lifts off the floor, gliding towards Valaria's head and the
menancing fly that seems to be waking him.
Dessie pouts as she is set down and simply makes her to a table and takes a seat
Valaria spots the duck in flight and moves off of Demont where she pounced him and the duck lands on his chest.
Demont eeks and falls flat on his back.
Demont blinks and eyes the duck...slightly confused.
Xaandria once again grabs Valaria as she dashes behind the bar this time. Xaan whispers rather loudly to her friend, "I don't
think he can take much more of this." Just then, a loud explosion is heard as the duck does his trick for Demont. Feathers
fly around the tavern, landing on everyone's head. Question is, where did he go this time?
Arkim seems to appear from out of nowhere, spontaneously generating next to you.
Arkim blows kisses.
Valaria looks at Demont then eyes the entire tavern, scanning it quickly for the missing exploding duck.
Demont screams, unprepared for the exploding duck and throws his hands up over his face, his body littered with feathers.
Xaandria peeks out from behind the counter. The duck reappears with Arkim, returning his kiss then settling down in his lap
for another nap.
Kalid waves to Arkim.
Fraidenfer carelessly brushes the duck feathers off of his head and on to the floor while speaking to Aleriah "You know where
they are to be found?"
Valaria dropped 1 buttered crumpet.
Milo spies around for someone looking quite disappointed.
Valaria said, "Oops."
Demont grabs a feather as well, but secretively. He then takes the feather and begins to relentlessly tickly Valaria on the
back of her neck.
Saerithia 's eyes grow wide as she listens to Arkim. Her eyes dart quickly towards the duck, a soft eep emitting from her
mouth. Having a feeling that it might explode again, she dashes underneath Demont's table for protection.
Kalid said to Arkim, "Well, it always goes... It goes well here, thank you."
Demont replaces that y at the end of tickly with an e.
Fraidenfer leaves the tavern, picking up the buttered crumpet on his way out
Xaandria cringes as the duck stirs from his sleep again and quacks loudly at Arkim. Taking flight again, he flaps around the
tavern, landing near Saerithia. Seems only natural since he recognized her from earlier. The fowl pecks at her hair for a
moment before the twitching begins again.
Saerithia screams as she sees the crumpet fall near her, remembering what happened last time she had a crumpet.
Demont sees the duck come near and eeps and runs away behind the bar.
Saerithia screams as she notices the duck, then runs behind the bar, her arms flailing madly in the air.
Valaria follows Demont, hiding behind the bar with him.
Saerithia shakes, her eyes darting about all paranoid-like.
Valaria said to Saerithia, "Don't flap your arms...the duck will think it's his mother!"
Saerithia blinks at Val, then screams again.
Valaria holds on to Demont for dear life.
Xaandria watches the duck stare at Saerithia with mild confusion. He stops twitching and waddles behind the counter where
the woman is hides and begins quacking at her. Funny how the quacks emitting from the critter sound like the word 'Momma'.
Xaandria said to Valaria, "I think he does. *snickers*"
Demont quickly gets away from Valaria's hold and leaps over the bar counter in a single bound and makes his way to a corner
and hides.
Valaria runs from behind the bar, leaving the duck and his momma and quickly returns to the safety of her seat by the window.
Saerithia cries as she hides herself behind Mesthak. The look on the dwarf's face seems to be somewhat frightened as he watches
the duck edge towards Sae. Mesthak screams all girly-like and hides behind Demont and Val. Sae screams yet again as the duck
continues to head towards, " NO! Im not your momma!!" She stands up and hops over the bar, scurrying over to her table and
hiding beneath it.
Xaandria runs over to Valaria's table, keeping a safe distance between her and the duck. The fowl has other plans on his mind.
The feathered beast waddles slowly from behind the counter, quackling almost sadly now as he searches for his 'Momma'. He
takes flight within the tavern once more, this time landing on Demont's head and begins the twitching again.
Demont runs around, his arms flailing at his sides, 'No! Not again!"
Valaria very quickly counts out some gold, passing it to Tirza, then huddles with Xaan waiting to see what the duck will do.
Valaria said to Demont, "Nooooo! Demont, the ducks going to think you're it's Pappa now!"
Xaandria taps Valaria lightly on the arm and whispers, "You should tell him not to do that. The duck might think he's something
else."
Saerithia watches Demont flap his arms about. She blinks repeatedly, then gets up and hurries outside before the duck can
find her, slamming the door shut behind her and barring it shut.
Demont freezes instantly and looks up at the twitching water fowl.
Saerithia shouted, "*loud hammering sounds are heard as she nails the tavern door shut*"
Demont said, "No! She's trapped us!"
Valaria shouted, "Nooo, Saer! Don't lock us in here!"
Xaandria watches Demont and the duck, trying not to laugh too loud at the sight. For a moment, the fowl settles down with
the twitching but starts again, even more violent once Demont stops moving. The feathered beast pecks steadily at Demont's
head for a moment before looking over at Xaan and Val, exploding yet again.
Saerithia shouted, "Get rid of the duck! Lock him in a chest of metal or something...then I will let you out!!!"
Demont's visage takes on a dull expression as he spits a few feathers out of his mouth. "...Who's duck is that...?"
Kalid said to you, "That duck... poor fellow, how many times has he exploded today?"
Demont said to Kalid, "He seems to like exploding on me...second time within 15 minutes!"
Kalid said to Demont, "*snickers* He likes you! You're so lucky..."
Xaandria chuckles at the sight of Demont spitting a few feathers out, "He started following me around a few days ago. Not
quite sure where he came from or why." She turns to Kalid, "I lost count. Let's hope he doesn't decide to keep exploding.
Might end up really hurting someone or himself."
Valaria said, "Everyone oocly don't say anything...hehehe ....shhhhh."
Saerithia shouted, "*slowly takes her hammer and unnails the door of the tavern*"
Saerithia peeks inside, looking for the duck.
Valaria gets a look of relief as Saer unbarrs the door and steps in. Her face contorts in horror as right on the other side
of the door stands the duck, snarling up at Saer. He shakes furiously and explodes once again up into her face.
Vgfh yawns.
Kalid makes loud quaking noises at Saerithia.
Xaandria ducks her head behind Valaria's shoulder, laughing hysterically.
Saerithia lets out an ear-piercing scream as she is sent back outside and into the shop across the road from the tiny duck's
blast.
Saerithia shouted, "I hate ducks!"
Maitane fidgets as she tries to sleep through the noise, her thoughts turn to banshee wailing the duck and its' encouragers
into painful oblivion. She decides not to be so unreasonable.
Xaandria shouted, "But he loves you!"
Demont runs over to Valaria, and dives to the ground, pulling her over him like a shield. "Save me!"
Saerithia's eye twitches as she wanders back into the tavern, her clothes burnt and her delicate porcelain face scorched.
Valaria shouted, "to saerithia He loves his Momma!"
Saerithia said to Valaria, "IM NOT HIS MOMMA!!"
Saerithia growls softly as she hops up on top of the bar, sitting there, staring at the duck, pondering whether or not she
should turn it into dinner.
Xaandria watches as the duck waddles back over to Saerithia, perching himself on her foot for a nap. She looks up at the woman
and grins, "He seems to think you are."
Valaria said to Demont, "If you wanted me close to you, all you had to do is ask."
Saerithia gahs softly as she watches the duck. She twitches slightly, just as the duck does before it explodes, a look of
sheer madness upon her face.
Demont hears the crack of the ducks explosion and pulls Valaria nearer. "I ain't being exploded on alone again!"
Valaria hugs Demont. "Okay..I'll save you."
Demont grins, "Valaria saves the day!"
Valaria does a half of a jig in her seat while still hugging Demont.
Xaandria grins at Saerithia, "See, he's not so bad when he's calm." The duck lets a small quack out before waddling off Saerithia's
feet and makes his way towards Magik.
Saerithia looks up at Valaria and Demont. Her eye twitches a bit more as she watches them. After giving it a moment of thought,
she picks up the duck and shakes it madly. The duck begins to shake and twitch again as Sae plucks a feather from it. Without
giving it another thought, she tosses the duck at Valaria and Demont like a grenade, then dashes out the door before the winged
creature can follow her.
Demont pulls Valaria infront of him to shield him from ane xplosion that may occur from the duck.
Valaria furrows her brow at Demont, shaking her head. "My hero..." She quickly picks up the duck and hurls its shaking body
randomly into the crowd and flinches as it lands on Magik's table.
Aura ponces on the duck and viciously knaws on it with her sharp teeth .
Magik just eyes the duck, "Quack?"
Demont moves Valaria back to her previous spot before he moved her infront of him,s ticll clutching her. He grins as if nothing
happened.
Xaandria dives under the table with Valaria and Demont when the duck begins shaking. Next thing she hears is the sound of
the duck exploding in front of Magik and Goo.
Aura is now covered in duck insides.
Magik and Goo go flying towards the north. The elf and cat both break through the door to the storeage room.
Aura wipes the gunk off her face in disgust
Valaria lifts herself back up in a seated position at her table, still hanging on to Demont. She looks over at Xaandria. "How
many more does he have in him?"
Xaandria blinks as the duo goes flying through the door then glances at Valaria, "Not really sure. I hope it's not too many."
Magik appears from the north, patting off Goo. He places the cat onto the floor then goes about wiping his blackened face
and armor off.
Xaandria quickly grabs the duck and sits it in Valaria's lap, "Don't let anyone else disturb him."
Magik mutters, "Damn duck, " before sitting down at the bar.
Demont squeezes Valaria and must oocly go for a moment or two.
Valaria holds the duck in her lap keeping it still and quiet. Patting his head lightly.
Xaandria sits back down next to Valaria, sighing softly as the duck drifts off to sleep.
